An Ode to the Choke

Oh, artichokes, how I adore,
Your succulent leaves and tender core.
With your heart of gold, so firm and pure,
I cannot help but love you more and more.

Your leaves, so green, and tender to the touch,
Dipped in melted butter, oh how I love such.
And when I reach the heart of you,
My heart fills with delight, it’s true.
